Position Summary
The Department of English at the University of Southern Indiana a public university in Evansville Indiana seeks applications for a renewable position at the Instructor level in English basic writing rhetoric and composition. Appointment will begin August 2025.
Duties/Responsibilities
The English Instructor will be expected to engage in department and university service activities and teach 12 credit hours per semester a 4/4 load that includes undergraduate rhetoric and composition literature (Medieval Victorian and Shakespeare) and humanities courses
Required Knowledge and Skills
Applicants must hold a PhD degree in English and have three or more years of demonstrated success teaching collegelevel rhetoric and composition literature and humanities classes.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
A specialization in Humanities.
