The VA OIT SPM Corporate (CORP) Service Line (SL) delivers worldclass Veterancentric capabilities that provide secure seamless delivery of IT systems to VA corporate offices so these offices may efficiently and effectively provide benefits and services to Veterans and their families.
Professional Level
A Project Manager aligns within 9thway Insignia as a Senior Consultant. A Senior Consultant completes tasks and projects of moderate scope and complexity. A Senior Consultant exercises the best judgement and problemsolving skills within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action to execute assignments. A Senior Consultant will also provide guidance and/or lead on tasks/projects.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Gather analyze and interpret data related to project performance.
- Develop detailed project reports dashboards and presentations for stakeholders.
- Project Planning and Support:
- Assist in defining project scope goals and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project timelines budgets and resource plans.
- Track project progress and identify risks or issues.
- Process Improvement:
- Evaluate project workflows to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Facilitate meetings and document key discussions action items and decisions.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain project documentation including plans schedules and status reports.
Ensure projects adhere to regulatory or organizational compliance standards
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or related field
- 5 years of experience
- Journeyman level experience in MS Project and Jira
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
Preferred/Desired
- PMP CAPM or equivalent certification.
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement credentials are a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master under the list of preferred certifications

This position is remote.
