Job Description
Drr is one of the worlds leading suppliers of products systems and services mainly for automobile manufacturing. Our range of products and services covers important stages of vehicle production. As a systems supplier we plan and build complete paint shops and final assembly facilities. We also manufacture and supply automotive and industrial paint and sealing robotics. Our environmental technologies deal with procedures to improve energy efficiency and the exhaust air purification.
We are a growing organization and we are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. Together with the momentum of our business vision we can achieve international success and added innovation in all of the themes which Drr influences at a global level.
Position Summary: Detailing and electrical design (hardware and software) for industrial control systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Design and detailing of industrial controls systems for both hardware and software
- Generate design drawings bill of equipment PLC /controller code/graphic user interface code from examples and reference projects
- Follow through designs to equipment fabrication software code testing and onsite startup/debug of all functions
- Maintain transmittal records and document control
- Interface with the customer to establish design goals
- Specify equipment
- Travel approximately 15%
Nonessential Functions

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 3 years of position related experience
- Experience with electrical engineering design for industrial controls and panels
- Able to interpret NEC and local codes
- Familiar with PLC programming graphic user interface programming computer operating systems and networking
- Familiar with instrumentation and process control
- Familiar with Robotic cell designs
- Familiar with Hazardous area classifications
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Ability to understand project schedules
- Good time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work well independently and in a team environment
Physical Demands: While performing duties of job incumbent is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision.
