Job Description

The job responsibilities include: A strong background knowledge in teaching middle school math. Use various methods of instruction to differentiate for all students.. Prepare lesson plans homework assignments tests etc. to support curriculum goals. Develop classroom standards to maintain student discipline and behavior. Communicate regularly with parents and administration on student concerns and academic performance. Work with a team to determine student learning and behavioral concerns. Establish learning goals and objectives. Perform all duties in a professional manner. Actively support a positive school culture for all members of the community. Plan intensely and thoughtfully and collaborate with other content area and grade level teachers. Commitment to Locke Middle Schools mission vision and Core Values Performs any other duties as assigned by the PrincipalPrefered candidate should be licensed as a middle school Math Teacher with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
