Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer in our Morgan Hill CA facility you will assist Engineers in research & development in the following areas: semiautomated & automated manufacturing power & control systems and test systems for product qualification and manufacturing. Will assist the Senior Electrical Engineer and perform electrical maintenance and new electrical work and electrical repairs at the companys facility. Provide electrical engineering support of the analysis and improvement of existing processes; work on optimization of electrical/mechanical processes & fixtures to help identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations i.e. new process equipment or equipment justification to improve performance. Prepare quotations for labor tooling & equipment. Develop working instructions workmanship standards & process documents and ensure they are followed.


Knowledge in High Voltage Systems (110V 480V; 1 phase & 3 phase)

AC Control such as VFD & DC Speed Controls

PLC operation & programming experience (Siemens & Allen Bradley)

Familiar with pneumatic components & controls

Handson experience building & debugging mechanical/electrical systems such as automation motion control or manufacturing fixtures

Basic Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel Outlook)

Requirements:

BS EE or similar Bachelor of Science degree
