Responsibilities
- Develop/review/approve PFDs P&IDs batch cycle times equipment/instrument datasheets and specifications.
- Develop plant control logic.
- Main point of contact with plant supervision providers and with E&I suppliers and contractors.
- Manage engineering firms as well as manage/collaborate with construction managers to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Approve equipment vendor selection and submittal drawings.
- Inspect/approve field installations.
- Contribute to safety hazard reviews (HAZOP).
- Collaborate with KI engineering group on projects and provide expertise guidance and recommendations on global projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Automation or electrical engineering university or high school degree (diploma di perito tecnico).
- Highly interested in industrial process optimization.
- 2 3 years of work experience in an industrial setting (food or life science industry preferred).
- Must be able to communicate effectively in Italian and English.
- Base location will be in Cavriago (Reggio Emilia).
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- 2 3 years of supervision software design experience (PLC SCADA Siemens TIA Portal).Good 2D AutoCAD knowledge.
- Capable of working with a high degree of autonomy.
- Very flexible to work on multiple projects at one time.
- Highly communicative and teamcentric to work closely with all stakeholders involved.
- Siemens programming knowledge and skills would be a plus.
