As a Security Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Tech Controls team youserve as a seasoned member of a team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy predefined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse circumvention and malicious behavior. Carry out critical technology solutions with tamperproof audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives
Job responsibilities
- Executes security solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for internal clients (e.g. product platform application owners)
- Creates secure and highquality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Applies specialized tools ( scanner) to analyzeand correlate incident data toidentify interpret andsummarize the probability andimpact of threats whendetermining specificvulnerabilities
- Leads delivery of continuityrelated awareness training educational activities andexercises
- Adds to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Security engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience
- Skilled in creating security engineering solutions including the design and implementation of cloud security measures on AWS Azure or GCP adhering to best technical practices.
- Hands on experience in coding using Python and REACT JS.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure and proficient in container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficient in CI/CD platforms like Jenkins Jules or Spinnaker.
- Experience in agile methodologies including CI/CD using Terraform and Jenkins/Jules for infrastructure as code to improve application resiliency security and deployment processes.
- Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies
- Relevant experience in designing developing and implementing software solutions constantly seeking to be an expert
