Job Description
Posting: 1.0 FTE High School Science Teacher
Location: Father Patrick Mercredi Catholic High School
Start Date: August 25 th
Closin g Date: Open Until Filled
The Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking a full time 1.0 FTE High School Science Teacher at Father Patrick Mercredi Catholic High School starting August 25th 2025.
Duties of teachers may include but not limited to the following:
- identify students individual and collective learning needs
- plan and deliver instruction based on student learning needs and special needs
- provide a stimulating learning environment in which each student can experience growth and develop to his or her potential
- help students learn appropriate knowledge skills and attitudes.
- meet with parents
- evaluate and communicate student progress
- prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
- meet with other professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress
- volunteer to supervise extracurricular and afterschool activities
- attend meetings seminars and inservice training sessions.
