Considering its further international business expansion Parkwind is looking to enlarge its Legal Team for with a Senior Legal Counsel.
Your role:
You will be joining Parkwinds legal team focusing on general corporate commercial and compliance matters in relation to renewables projects in Belgium and abroad.
You will be responsible for negotiating and managing a diverse range of business contracts relating to offshore wind energy. You will advise on legal risk and liabilities associated with such contracts and how to manage these.
You will advise on and support renewables tenders and projects across the globe.
You will liaise with your colleagues of the business teams (incl. business development projects technology) to ensure and coordinate appropriate support.
You will provide general legal support to project companies and other group entities.
You will assist in preparing relevant internal documents and presentations for the management and/or board.
You will work together with our lead counsel legal and insurance in building and maintaining a sound governance and compliance framework as regards among others corporate housekeeping and data protection.
You will be a member of a dynamic legal team and will report to our lead counsel legal and insurance
Your profile:
You have a masters degree in law.
You have preferably 7 years of relevant professional experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer with a reputable firm and/or a legal department of an international company.
You are punctual and precise while giving advice and while administering your cases and contracts.
You have experience/interest in contract management commercial contracts and business law in general.
You have the ability to manage several things at the same time without losing oversight.
You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders.
You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity.
You have an analytical mindset and can communicate advice and ideas with respect for the business reality to colleagues with a different educational background.
You have good social skills and can work efficiently in a team.
You are flexible and willing to travel on an occasional basis.
You are fluent in Dutch or French and you are capable of working and drafting in English.
