About the role:
- You will facilitate the smooth operation of the Day Procedure Unit under the NUM with a cando attitude and strong customer service focus.
- Apply advanced nursing practices in planning implementing and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- Provide a support role to all members of the nursing team acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area.
- You will provide leadership and direction to the department to compliment the strategic direction operational processes budget and business direction of the unit and hospital.
- Your positive attitude ability to prioritise delegate and adapt along with your excellent time management skills are of critical importance for this role.
- This position holds a key leadership function and will see you report to and work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to achieve organisational goals.
- You will be responsible for the staff rostering.
- Relieve the NUM role during periods of leave.
About you:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Must have minimum of 2 years experience in this role.
- Strong clinical skillset.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from$55.92 $ 57.76 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager yr1yr2)
