IDD Adult Day Services Lead DSP
$250 Hiring Bonus!
FullTime MondayFriday 7am3pm
Hourly $16.50 $17.50
GoodLife Innovations serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesin a variety of Residential and Day Services programs. Our RISE Day Services program provides meaningful activities and opportunities designed to enrich the lives of the persons we serve.
We are seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help lead centerbased and communitybased activities and support the persons we serve in this semiindependent program. In this role you will assist with morning duties at a residential program and transport clients in a company vehicle to our Day Services clubhouse. While at the Day Services clubhouse you will engage with and support clients in activities including art classes field trips and more! then transport clients back to their residential program. You will build lasting relationships through community outings functional activities and daily companionship!

EntryLevel Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have a valid drivers license and safe driving record
- Previous caregiving teaching or direct support experience ideally in a day services residential or therapeutic setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with semiindependent adult clients
- Ability to model and teach appropriate client interactions
- Ability to give and accept feedback effectively
Some duties include:
- Modeling a high level of energy excellence and accountability to staff
- Assisting persons served to increase their independence learn appropriate behaviors and skills and maintain health/hygiene/grooming
- Facilitating safe and fun community outings
- Assisting RISE Coordinator with administrative duties
Available schedule:
- MondayFriday 7am3pm
