Associate Retirement Plan Distributions

Position Summary
We are searching for an entry level Associate who has great telephone customer service experience preferably in a retirement benefits or financial services environment and/or call center and wants to take care of our members and their retirement plan needs. We need someone to take phone calls and respond to emails about the members retirement plan forms perform light processing of retirement distributions and has a strong desire to learn more about retirement plans practices procedures and business systems.

Required Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Oneyear telephone customer service experience in the financial services industry.
Experience answering telephone calls and email requests using excellent telephone customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Ability to effectively multitask while taking member calls.
Ability to effectively interact with others and work in a team environment.
Ability to learn new processes and systems.
Must be able to work 8:15 5:00 p.m. on a hybrid work schedule (2 days in the office 3 days at home). 100% remote work isnt an option.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in business; finance or accounting preferred.
One year experience in a pension plan administration work environment.
Experience processing retirement distributions. (401(k) plan defined pension plan Iras annuities)
Knowledge of retirement plan options (i.e. 401(k) plan defined pension plan Iras annuities)
Essential Physical Requirements
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
This job is sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time; therefore the job is rated for light work.
