Job Description

Location: Southfield MI

Position Summary:

We have an opportunity for a motivated and technically savvy Sales Engineer to lead service and modification sales efforts with OEM clients across the U.S. This role focuses on delivering valueadded solutions for conveyor systems automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and related system upgradesparticularly within the paint finishing and general assembly industries. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the rapidly growing AGV / Automation space.

What Youll Do:

  • Drive sales of service and modification projects to OEM customers including both conveyor systems and AGV upgrades.
  • Manage the full sales cyclefrom initial customer contact to purchase orderby identifying opportunities performing site assessments conducting root cause analysis developing project scopes estimating and closing deals.
  • Conduct proactive inperson visits with current and prospective clients nationwide.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering estimating project management) to support proposal and project development.
  • Act as a key point of contact for all AGVrelated service upgrades ensuring customer needs are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and follow internal processes in line with our Business Operating System.
  • Collaborate with the service team to develop tailored efficient solutions for facility and equipment modifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For:

  • Strong technical understanding of conveyor systems AGVs and system integration.
  • 3 years of experience in engineering operations (e.g. project engineering system design site supervision commissioning or project management).
  • Experience with estimating and pricing service projects.
  • Excellent communication coordination and customerfacing skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Selfmotivated dependable creative and flexible.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% nationwide.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Physical Demands: While performing duties of job incumbent is occasionally required to stand walk sit and use hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision. Additionally the incumbent will be required to:

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a fulltime position. Days and hours of work vary based on need. Evening and weekend work may be required. May be required to work holidays. Overtime may be required.

Travel:

This position requires frequent travel approximately 50%. Travel can be both overnight and during the business day and can be both local and international.
