Belmont Hospital is seeking a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to provide expert patient care and clinical leadership in our Emergency Department (ED). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a closeknit highly skilled team delivering highquality emergency care to the Lake Macquarie community.

About Our Emergency Department
Dr Tim Arnold Clinical Director Department of Emergency Medicine Belmont Hospital I am proud to work as the Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine at Belmont Hospital because of the culture that we have in the department. It is inclusive and we have FACEMS over different stages of their careers working here from first year out to a Senior Staff Specialist and Professor of Emergency Medicine. The nursing staff are stable and strong lead by a Nurse Unit Manager who has been part of the team for about 10 years.

We see approximately 29000 presentations annually with an admission rate of 14%. While we have a strong aged care patient cohort our ED provides care to patients of all ages including 1420% paediatric presentations.
