Description
Nine (9) years experience in Software Engineering Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring Guava) Bachelors in related field; seven (7) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and thirteen (13) years relevant experience.

Description
Erias Ventures is seeking a motivated Frontend Developer to join our team! Were looking for someone who is passionate about building intuitive applications that meet the needs of our users. Asking questions failing fast and writing maintainable code are at the center of what we do while building applications for the Big Data Platform (BDP). Our team is dedicated to mentoring and supporting our colleagues and we believe that everyone has the potential to grow and excel. Work is performed in a hybrid environment with a great team.
Clearance
A security clearance is preferred. Candidates can be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience- Assist with the creation enhancement and maintenance of web applications
- JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review
- Work closely with designers backend engineers and data scientists to build holistic user experiences
- Help define and interact with REST based APIs
- Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support
- Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing
- Other duties as assigned

Required skills:
- 9 years of experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
- Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
- Selfmotivation; Ability to multitask and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly.
- Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment spending an average of 12 days per week at our Columbia MD office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Desired skills:
Benefits- Previous experience with BDP is a plus.
- DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
