Job Title: Temporary Registration Specialist
This is a Temporary position limited to no more than 9months.
Job Summary:
Incoming firstyear undergraduate students at CU Denver receive their orientation advising from the University Advising team in the Office of Academic Achievement. Registration Specialistsmeet with incoming firstyear students to review degree requirements and select classes for their first semester. Registration Specialistsutilize various technologies and resources to assist students in selecting their classes. Most Registration Days occur via Zoom but there are some inperson dates for individuals who are able to work on campus.
Registration Specialists work 820hours per weekduring New Student Orientation season which runs from midApril to midAugust. There is a very specific Orientation schedule and Registration Specialistsmust be able to work all the Orientation sessions. We are currently hiring staff to work in May and June. There is a possibility for work in July and August depending on student enrollments and budget. Paid training will be provided!
Applicant screening will begin on Friday May 9 and will continue until positions are filled.

Hybrid this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule training will occur in May. Most Registration Days will occur via Zoom with some occurring inperson for individuals who are able to work on campus. A full list of inperson and virtual commitments will be shared during the interview process.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The hiring range for this position has been established at: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.
Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. Temporary employees are only eligible for sick leave benefits.
