Job Description

A position has been declared open in the Weber School District atWest Field High School for an American Sign Language(ASL) Teacher. This position is for 8.00 hours per day 182 days (9 months) per year and is paid according to the Educator Salary Schedule.This positionstarts the upcoming 202526 school year (note start date).

Requirements and Preferences:

Please read thestaffing guidelines and expectationsset forth by Mike Martini Principal of West Field High School.

Under the direction of the school principal the teacher is responsible for the education of assigned students and will create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth. The teacher will establish effective rapport with students motivate pupils to develop skills attitudes and the knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for further education and do so in accordance with each students ability. Professional relations will be developed and maintained with other staff and parents.
