Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $15.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 20 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performing molecular biology experiments
- Performing data analysis
- Documenting experiments and analyses
- Assisting with laboratory maintenance
- Making presentations to disseminate research
- Attending lab meetings
- Writing manuscripts
Required Competencies
- Strong professionalism skills
- Able to work as a team and collaborate with others
Minimum Requirements
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 academic credit for the semester of employment.
- Completed BIOL 315 Genetics
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
