Job Description

Make a Difference Through Education. Empower Every Residential Treatment Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Educational Care Specialist (Paraprofessional) to support boys and young men in a small structured and traumainformed school setting. As a key member of the classroom team youll assist with academic instruction provide emotional support and help students build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the Responsibilities:Serve as inhouse substitute for absent teachersParticipate in the IEP process as requiredServe as a role model for clients at all timesProvide corrective/learning experience for the studentsSet and maintain consistent/constructive limitsPlan and participate in assigned activitiesProvide support to the residences during transition prior to school each morningQualifications:High school diploma required; Bachelors Degree preferredPreferred minimum one year experience working w/ youth 818 years oldValid ID and CORI/DCF background checkAble to participate in physical interventionsSalary:Starting at $18.00/ hourw/ MAP Certification: $21.00/ hourBenefits:$1000 Referral BonusHealth Dental and Vision Insurance403B Retirement Plan options with company matchFitness ReimbursementUndergraduate Tuition RemissionGraduate Tuition Reimbursement11 Paid Holidays19 Days PTOEmployer Paid Life Insurance & LTDFlexible ScheduleHealth Flexible Spending AccountDependent Care FSAPaid Orientation & TrainingsParental LeaveMileage ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramFree breakfast lunch and parking for all employees!Location: 27 Winter Street Natick MA 01760
