Our IT Infrastructure Team is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Walmarts vast technological landscape. We focus on ensuring high performance reliability and security across all our systems. As a Principal Software Engineer you will play a critical role in driving our strategic initiatives contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our IT operations.
Lead the development and implementation of automation tools to streamline infrastructure maintenance.
Oversee coding standards and quality ensuring robust and secure software solutions.
Analyze and optimize IT resource utilization and capacity management.
Resolve complex technical issues and provide guidance on best practices.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate and design scalable systems.
Expertise in automation tools (e.g. Chef Puppet) and scripting languages.
Proficiency in coding with languages such as JavaScript Python C# and frameworks like .NET and Cocoa.
Strong understanding of infrastructure maintenance configuration management and version control.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure AWS) and middleware integration.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to handle complex projects independently.
