IT Systems Engineer (Windows Endpoint)

IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER (WINDOWS ENDPOINT)

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Intune Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and managing our organizations Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Intune infrastructure. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of our endpoint management systems deploying and managing software updates and maintaining the security and compliance of our devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design implement and manage Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Intune infrastructure including architecture configuration and maintenance
• Deploy and manage software updates patches and applications to endpoints using MECM and Intune
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry regulations such as CIS and NIST
• Configure and manage Intune policies including device configuration compliance and conditional access
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with MECM and Intune including clientside and serverside problems
• Develop and maintain documentation of MECM and Intune configurations including technical guides and troubleshooting procedures
• Collaborate with other IT teams such as desktop support and security to ensure seamless integration and support
• Stay uptodate with the latest Microsoft technologies and trends including new features and releases of MECM and Intune
• Provide training and support to endusers and other IT staff on Configuration Manager and Intunerelated topics
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure Configuration Manager and Intune infrastructure is redundant and recoverable

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or other technical field of study and 3 years of systems engineering experience OR 5 years of systems engineering experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Intune including deployment management and troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows operating systems including Windows 11 and Windows Server

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Microsoft certifications in relevant areas (e.g. Windows MECM Intune)
• Experience with custom PowerShell module development and CI/CD style implementations
• Advanced PowerShell proficiency including proficiency in writing debugging optimizing scripts module development and CI/CD pipeline implementations
• Familiarity with interacting with Microsoft Graph API including experience with authentication querying and manipulating data using Graph API endpoints and understanding of Graph APIs role in integrating with Azure AD Intune and other Microsoft services
• Experience with querying and writing reports for SIEM platforms like Splunk to support the teams security monitoring and incident response efforts
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance regulations such as NIST and PCIDSS
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range:
IT Systems Engineer: $120000.00 $160000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a casebycase basis and may vary based on the following considerations: jobrelated knowledge and skills education and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
