Job Description
Torch Technologies Inc is looking for a Government Contract Closeout Specialist.
Duties include:
- Working contract closeouts to ensure that all FAR requirements are met.
- Identify and resolve all discrepancies between contract cost and contract billing in order to finalize billing.
- Prepare and maintain paperwork for all contract closeouts.
- Identify and resolve revenue issues.
- Reconcile Billing to Revenue.
- Reconcile Billing to Cost Reports.
- Coordinate deobligations of funding.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Business Administration a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years accounting experience as well as billing and government contract closeout experience in a Costpoint environment.
- This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- An ideal candidate should have experience in processing contract closeouts for a variety of contract types and customers.
- Desired candidate should also have a working knowledge of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs).
- Employee must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to coordinate easily with other backoffice departments including Program Control and Contracts and Subcontracts.
