This teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging contentrich instruction aligned with the Core Knowledge curriculum and at the high school level the International Baccalaureate (IB) program a globally recognized standard of academic ResponsibilitiesDeliver daily instruction across five assigned classes in alignment with Core Knowledge and IB clear measurable learning objectives and develop lessons that support language acquisition and cultural formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback through progress reports and report regularly with colleagues and the Languages Department Chair to align curriculum share best practices and analyze student a structured and respectful classroom environment through the schools assertive discipline in staff meetings and ongoing professional on additional responsibilities as directed by school degree in Spanish or a closely related written and verbal communication to evaluate student performance and provide actionable problemsolving skills and a studentcentered to build positive relationships with students families and with educational policies and regulations at the school state and federal organized and adaptable with a proactive approach to student or willingness to learn and implement the IB curriculum is StructureThis position reports to the Languages Department Chair and is reviewed annually.
