Are you an administrative professional with a keen eye for detail The Bureau of Real ID is on the lookout for a Clerical Assistant 3 responsible for researching discrepancies with drivers license records to correct and resolve errors. In this important role you will assist field staff Driver License Centers and other Department staff as well as field questions and complaints from the general public and legislative offices. In this role you will be responsible for assisting other work units by researching drivers license records and microfilm to determine REAL ID eligibility and consistency. The REAL ID Bureau reviews documents such as microfilm/microfiche and EDMS documentation to determine if the documents presented to receive Real ID satisfy Real ID laws policies and guidelines. The review includes ensuring documents are valid signed and/or certified by the appropriate authorities and any special acceptance or requirements were met prior to REAL ID program approval.
Work involves the receipt investigation review determination and correction of REAL ID product issues. This entails providing realtime support for the Driver License (DL) field staff on REAL ID questions and needed fixes working and collaborating with various internal Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) staff and ensuring that REAL ID issuance can be achieved while also meeting federal REAL ID requirements.
