JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Pennsylvania Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit is seeking applicants for a parttime job of Fisheries Research Technologist.
Job duties to include:
Assist with an acoustic telemetry project including but not limited to transmitter testing acoustic array deployment fish sampling using a variety of different gears (e.g. boat electrofishing hoop nets) fish processing and data recording and entry.
Estimate of 20 to 40 work hours per week ending in midAugust 2025.
Requirements qualifications and/or competencies:
Field work will be physically demanding.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
