Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as the Director of Operations at the Save Mart Center in Fresno. In this role you will oversee event operations staffing and client relations within the sports and entertainment industry. Key Responsibilities
Manage crowd management staff at various client locations ensuring appropriate staffing levels training and compliance with security protocols.
Develop and implement post orders best practices and training materials for security personnel to ensure optimal performance.
Lead security personnel by resolving staffing issues and addressing performance concerns effectively.
Proactively identify potential risks and safety concerns to maintain a secure environment for employees and guests.
Collaborate with clients to address security needs emergency protocols and safety standards to ensure client satisfaction.
Assist in hiring processes orientation ongoing training of security personnel while providing direction to both new hires and existing staff.
Manage scheduling for all security personnel at events to meet client requirements efficiently.
Regularly evaluate events to provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Monitor payroll processes and submit billing reports promptly.
Ensure effective communication with team members clients and stakeholders.
Support other operational areas as needed by assisting with special projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
A high school diploma is required; an Associates Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
A minimum of two years of progressive security experience including supervisory roles in a sports or entertainment setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills along with excellent planning organizational and communication abilities are necessary.
The ability to train and motivate a diverse team while fostering a professional resultsdriven environment is crucial.
Keen knowledge of workplace health/safety standards along with security operations is required.
The ability to manage multiple priorities independently using sound judgment is important.
A willingness to obtain FEMA Certification as well as IAVM Crowd Manager certification is expected.
A proficiency in Microsoft Office applications alongside basic computer skills is necessary.
Physical Demands
The ability to communicate effectively (both spoken and written) while occasionally lifting or handling small objects is required.
The ability to travel as needed for site visits meetings and events is required. Work Environment
