To help facilitate our expanding business RMS Energy is currently seeking aFleet Equipment Technician responsible for maintaining diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment used in a fleet. This typically includes a range of vehicles such as trucks trailers and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

Inspection & Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Repairs: Fix problems with mechanical and electrical systems and more.
RecordKeeping: Maintain detailed service and repair logs.
Parts Management: Order and manage inventory of replacement parts and tools.
Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet safety and emissions regulations.
Emergency Repairs: Provide mobile repair support or onsite emergency repairs when necessary.
Transport vehicles to and from the site as needed for delivery or pickup.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools.
Understanding of diesel and gasoline engine systems.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (especially for heavy equipment).
Vocational training or certification (e.g. ASE certification).
CDL (Commercial Drivers License) preferred.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a strong customer focus and the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational time management leadership and decisionmaking skills demonstrating a capacity for managing multiple priorities and driving project success.

Ability to travel up to 60% throughout the continental USA reflecting flexibility and commitment to project needs.
Ability to pass a stringent drug screening and background check ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies.
Hold a valid and current drivers license with a clean driving record demonstrating reliability and adherence to safety regulations.

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly subject to various job site environments. The position demands physical mobility to navigate uneven surfaces the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly fine motor skills for handling small components and tools and the capability to climb ladders and work at heights. Sustained physical effort including standing bending pushing digging pulling kneeling crawling and reaching for extended periods is required. Good vision including color vision and depth perception and the ability to hear alarms and communicate in noisy environments are essential. Additionally proficiency in speaking hearing reading and typing in English is required for effective communication and documentation.
Travel requirements will make it necessary to drive a car (day and/or night) and at times fly in an airplane. This position has varying travel requirements consistent with job location workload and maximizing utilization. Travel demands can range up to 50%.
