Join VELUX as a Core Platform Engineer Help Us Build the Future of Developer Platforms
Are you passionate about cloudnative technologies like Kubernetes and Helm Do you want to work with modern platform tools such as GitHub and Backstage At VELUX were looking for a Core Platform Engineer to join our Container Platform and Resilience team and help us empower developers across the organization.
About the Role
As a Core Platform Engineer youll be part of a crossfunctional team responsible for maintaining and evolving our internal developer platform. Your focus will be on building tools and services that enhance reliability scalability and developer experience. Youll work with technologies such as:
Kubernetes (AKS and onprem)
Helm
GitHub (Actions)
Backstage
Kyverno
And other cloudnative tools
You will work closely with product teams to support their adoption of platform tools contribute to our platform roadmap and help improve automation observability and resilience across our containerized workloads.
What Were Looking For
This is a core role you should have some handson experience and a strong motivation to grow. Ideally you:
Have a good understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Are familiar with Helm and Gitbased workflows
Have some exposure to cloud infrastructure (Azure is a plus)
Are eager to learn and collaborate in a distributed culture
Can communicate clearly in English both written and spoken
