Job Description

In Italy we are present with more than 700 people and 5 production sites. With our main local brands FIP REDI ASTORE ISEA and LARETER we make products for the building infrastructure industry and agriculture sectors.

We offer a role as Sales Engineer who will report to the Domestic Sales Director in Aliaxis Italy and will be based in Aliaxis Zola Predosa (BO).

The candidate will be in charge of managing the projects pipeline and creating the Aliaxis project solutions portfolio. She/He will also be responsible of securing projects specifications for the companys and Groups products whilst optimizing profitable sales and developing relationships with main decisionmakers (Engineers Architects Planners General Contractors big Construction Companies and Installers).

The Key Responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

  • Generate a strong pipeline of projects with a positive impact in term of domestic sales.
  • Use a marketing approach to design specific tools supporting prescription activity and leveraging the general image of the company brand.
  • Promote the prescription of Aliaxis systems within projects managing an activity of specification addressed to main design studios engineering companies architects surveyors.
  • Activate develop and directly manage stable relationships with all the actors of the decisionmaking chain (general contractors big construction and sanitary companies technological installers) giving them technicalcommercial support along projects pipelines in order to reach the final negotiation and therefore the supply with a satisfactory conversion rate.
  • Probe the relevant market in order to find new opportunities of sales and relationship.
  • Promote Companys brands solutions system/products and services c/o professionals clients end users and to anyone may be interested to it and may grant economic return to the Company and the Group.
  • Maintain constantly the network alive and linked to the Company and to increase it using the CRM system to track Key Accounts new contacts visits and followed opportunities.
  • Provide advices to clients about best solutions to apply to their cases/projects/problems with a consulting approach aimed at helping them in all phases of the work from the initial project to the construction site always promoting Companys solutions/products and services.
  • Coordinate with the several Area Manager e support the sales network (Agents and Resellers).
  • Supervise an acquired contract (technicalcommercial aspects risk assessment budget and costs contractual clauses timings) also carrying out site inspections in order to verify the correct progress of the works solve problems and support our internal technicians in the startup and testing of supplied systems.
  • Proposition of our brand values (REDI/ISEA/Nicoll/FIP/Astore/Lareter).
  • Develop specific offers to satisfy clients by interfacing with our Technical Office.
  • Building of complex commercial proposal.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Technical education preferably with a degree in Engineering (Sanitary Hydraulic Civil Energy Mechanics).
  • Previous experience in the same role and in the water treatment sewerage plumbing and heating sectors is preferred.
  • Openminded approach and teamwork.
  • New interdisciplinary approach (technical commercial marketing).
  • Knowledge of products solutions and services of Company Group competitors.
  • Commercial and technical competence.
  • Knowledge of the relevant market processes for the approval of new projects.
  • CRM IT system.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong and longterm relationships with targeted customers/stakeholders.
  • Strong development of profitable sales and specification actions for the market.
  • Customer needs orientation through availability courtesy and competence.
