Job Description
Design Manager Water Recycling
Location: Hybrid Peterborough
Join the @one Alliance a collaboration of eight industry leaders (Anglian Water Balfour Beatty Barhale Binnies MMB MWH Treatment Skanska and SWECO) as we deliver innovative water infrastructure solutions for AMP8 and beyond. Were looking for a Design Manager to lead the Water Recycling West (Infrastructure) team focusing on wastewater pipelines and sustainable solutions.
What will you be doing as our new Design Manager
What youll do
- Oversee design teams ensuring highquality efficient project delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative lowcarbon solutions.
- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain safety and operational standards.
- Manage risks and drive valueoptimised project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and champion health and safety best practices.
- Lead a diverse team fostering a culture of development inclusion and excellence.
- Support Anglian Waters commitment to sustainability and innovation in infrastructure.
What we are looking for
- Degree in engineering (or equivalent experience) with a strong background in wastewater infrastructure.
- Expertise in designing wastewater networks pipelines and pumping stations.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop teams and collaborate effectively.
- Commitment to sustainability and innovation in engineering practices.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and safety compliance.
