Role Summary:
An exciting opportunity to join the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the new Personal Tax Compliance Work stream and play a key role in driving a Global Priority Solution for Tax & Legal.
The CoE is transforming how member firms deliver Global Mobility personal tax compliance through the implementation of a cuttingedge global technology solution and a new delivery model leveraging the KDN. As a Manager you will be a vital part of this newlyformed team supporting the global tax questionnaire update process.
Your primary responsibilities will be ensuring that the tax questionnaires used globally by our clients globally mobile employees are reviewed and updated annually by our member firms. You are also going making sure updates are reviewed and correct before we are sharing it with our clients via our common technology.
This roles combines the skills of project manager and personal income tax professional; great for somebody who would like to deepen expertise in Tax while also acting as a manager and deliver tangible results.
Responsibilities:
- As a part of a small team lead communications with each Member Firm on the yearly update process.
- Review updates made by countries from a tax technical and client experience perspective communicate feedback and approve or ask for changes.
- Create project plans and timelines for each country to complete updates review and release Tax Questionnaires and manage the completion of deliverables.
- Become our internal expert in the us of technology tools for tracking updates.
- Spot test updates in the system and coordinate QA testing and approval for release.
- Coordinate other aspects of work such as facilitating translation updates troubleshooting and working with developers to resolve application issues.
Requirements
- 5 years of Global mobility tax experience and personal tax compliance knowledge and willingness to become a subject matter expert.
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent degree in relevant field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details to manage the complex update and review process.
- Outstanding project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to collaborate across teams building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
- Proficient communicator in written and spoken English (other languages advantageous but not required).
- Understanding of how decisions are made within a federated firm structure and experience in overcoming internal obstacles.
- Experience in identifying process inefficiencies driving continuous improvements.
