Job Description
In this role you will play a key part in ensuring reliable costefficient and technically sound grid connections for our wind and solar parks from early development through to commissioning and handover.
You will work across the full project lifecycle from feasibility studies and strategy through technical design and procurement to construction support and operational handover. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as external partners such as TSOs consultants contractors and project managers.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Lead the design specification and evaluation of grid connection solutions
- Own the technical content of Grid Connection Agreements (GCAs) and coordinate related activities
- Assess connection strategies and grid solutions with a focus on CAPEX and OPEX optimization
- Manage technical requirements during procurement (e.g. overhead lines transformers substations cabling wind turbines BOP/S)
- Ensure compliance with grid codes standards and local regulations
- Conduct and review grid system studies and technical evaluations
- Support during construction and commissioning phases including quality assurance and technical issue resolution
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and development of tools and processes
Who Were Looking For
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Solid experience in grid connection engineering for largescale energy projects
- Strong understanding of grid codes network operator requirements and power system studies
- Experience managing technical interfaces in complex projects
- Fluent in English and Finnish
- A team player with a structured proactive and solutionoriented approach
