Job Description
As a Caf Staff/ Barista at Impact Hub Berlin you will be responsible for daily caf operations from preparing drinks and food to maintaining clean working and seating areas. We are looking for an independent individual to help shape our caf and atmosphere while supporting the team.
You will work alongside our enthusiastic impactdriven Hospitality & Event Team (Coworking Team) to cocreate the caf concept in close alignment with the entire Impact Hub Berlin team and our community.
As a Freelancer you will have the flexibility to contribute your own ideas while collaborating on the cafs development and sustainable approach. The caf should embody our circular mission focusing on sustainability from procurement to preparation and promoting ecofriendly consumption and partnerships.
Your Responsibilities:
- Open and close the caf independently creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Advise customers take orders and prepare drinks and food.
- Support daily lunch service and larger events.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor stock and manage deliveries.
Your qualifications and skills
- Strong interest about food and coffee with a genuine enthusiasm for coffee culture and sustainable handling of food.
- Experience in hospitality and service industry ideally as Caf Staff / Barista.
- Great interpersonal communication ability to gauge customers preferences.
- Ability to remain calm in busy environments even in testing situations.
- An eye for detail and tidiness.
- The right to work as a freelancer in the EU knowledge of selfemployment
