Job Description
Job Summary: Openshift Developer
Assess and analyze existing application architectures dependencies and deployment configurations on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
Plan and execute the migration of applications from PCF to OpenShift with minimal disruption.
Perform configuration changes and deploy applications to OpenShift clusters using container orchestration best practices.
Identify and resolve issues during and after migration including deployment failures and platformspecific errors.
Optimize application and container settings for performance scalability and resource efficiency on OpenShift.
Implement security best practices such as RBAC secrets management and compliance with corporate policies.
Collaborate with development DevOps and operations teams to ensure smooth migrations and provide postmigration support and documentation.
Require 6 years of experience with enterprise container platforms including 5 years with Red Hat OpenShift and PCF.
Must have strong experience with Kubernetes Docker and container orchestration.
Proficient in OpenShift cloud platforms.
Familiar with infrastructure automation and CI/CD tools (e.g. Harness).
Knowledgeable in cloudnative patterns microservices and application modernization.
Skilled in scripting languages (Shell Helm charts/modules).
Experience with Autosys.
