Job Description
Develop and maintain innovative web applications and services using FullStack and Java.
Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including frontend UI development backend API creation and data management.
Provide technical direction to team members and contribute handson to development tasks.
Collaborate with stakeholders product managers and engineers to deliver highquality scalable and maintainable solutions.
Design and implement enterprise applications and services.
Create technical and functional design documentation.
Work with databases (relational and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB etc.
Develop backend applications and RESTful APIs using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
Focus on for webbased user interface development.
Utilize cloud platforms (AWS Azure) containerization (Docker) orchestration tools (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
Apply knowledge of Agile development practices security best practices and possibly GraphQL SSR/SSG with React.
Support maintain and monitor missioncritical business applications in highly distributed environments.
Preferred experience with Cosmos DB and Elastic Search.
Role is hybrid onsite in Austin TX; must currently reside in the Austin area.
Must have prior experience with any state Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) projects.
Requires 3 office references.
