Job Description
We are seeking a Phlebotomist for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Burlington MA 01805.
Job Details:
- Shift: Day Shift(8) 8:00 start
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $920 $1040
Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of the universal order of draw
- Register patients and verify patient identification
- Accession and process specimens in compliance with lab protocols
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients and clinical staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area
- Accurately enter and manage data in Epic/Beaker systems
- Rotate every third weekend and be available for weekend/holiday shifts
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 36 months of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- Strong venipuncture and specimen handling skills required.
- Previous inpatient phlebotomy experience strongly.
- Experience with Epic/Beaker systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of universal order of draw.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Local candidates required.
