Job Description
Lafayette Animal Hospital is actively looking for aCredentialed Veterinary TechnicianOR a Veterinary Technician that will be taking the VTNE within the next 6 8 months. We are seeking an organized compassionate and serviceoriented Veterinary Technicianwho is confident in rooming patients assisting in surgery placing IV catheters drawing blood and running bloodwork has experience with xray and proper positioning understands the importance of client education and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing andLafayette Animal Hospital encourages its staff to do the same. Pay Range:$20 $24 (based on experience)
Hours:30 40 hours per week
Requirements:
- Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician license must be current ORmust be planning to take the VTNE within the next 6 months (required)
- 1 years in the veterinary industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Believes in the importance of client education
- Compassionate toward our patients and clients
- Motivated to learn new skills
- Positive and supportive team player

About the Hospital:
Lafayette Animal Hospital is a fastpaced hybrid clinic that offers general practice services along with urgent care and emergency care for our patients. We are open from 86 Monday through Friday and 82 Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.
