BluePearl Specialty Emergency Pet Hospital in NE Portland (Hollywood) is looking for a fulltime ER/ICU Technician to join our team.
Our team is focused on changing what it means to work in Emergency/Specialty Medicine. We are team member focused with a Culture of respect compassion empathy and inclusivity.
Roaring laughter collaboration and best intentions fill our days with an amazingly skilled team of DVMs with services in Emergency/ICU Critical Care Ophthalmology Surgery and Internal Medicine. Our support staff includes 4 VTS experienced CVTs and an outstanding Teaching Team.

As a Veterinary Technician you will:
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place peripheral IVCs and advanced catheters such as Central Lines or PICC lines.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Perform diagnostics and outpatient care
- Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent advanced medicine to your patients
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other coworkers.
- Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
