Our Strategic Asset Management Department is responsible for the centralised planning of Councils Civil and Parks Asset Management programs City Safety and Security functions and oversees the majority of Councils assets including buildings active and passive open space areas (including sporting fields playgrounds parks) roads bridges footpaths and drainage.
About the role
A permanent fulltime position is available starting in July 2025. Reporting to the Administration Support Team Supervisor this position will be required to provide highlevel business support functions and focus on the application of business excellence principles and processes. Responsibilities include supporting Asset Management staff providing efficient and effective administrative support and responding professionally to both internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining efficient workflow between the Civic Centre Depot staff and the community.
Essential criteria
Commencing salary:$67619.00 $78273.00 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.
You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review in order to progress through the recruitment process.
