The Group Biomedical Director is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing all biomedical operations across 250 dialysis clinics across 250 dialysis clinics in Southern California Arizona and New Mexico. This role ensures regulatory compliance operational excellence and proactive maintenance of lifesaving dialysis equipment and systems. The director will lead a team of Biomed Managers and Technicians driving performance standardization and alignment with clinical and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead coach and develop a highperforming team of Biomed Managers and Technicians across the region.
Ensure all dialysis equipment and water systems meet or exceed safety quality and regulatory standards (OSHA AAMI CMS).
Partner with clinical operations and facilities leaders to support patient care and minimize equipmentrelated downtime.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance and capital planning strategies across 250 sites.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) ensuring consistent execution of biomed processes and timely issue resolution.
Manage vendor relationships procurement and service agreements to ensure costeffective and timely support.
Lead biomed readiness for new clinic openings relocations and major renovations.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement safety and accountability.
Serve as the subject matter expert and escalation point for all regional biomed issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering healthcare technology or related field preferred.
7 years of progressive leadership experience in biomedical operations preferably within dialysis or healthcare.
Indepth knowledge of dialysis equipment water systems and regulatory requirements (AAMI CMS).
Proven ability to lead large geographically dispersed teams.
Strong problemsolving communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills.
Willingness to travel regularly across Southern CA AZ and NM.
Preferred Skills:
CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) or equivalent certifications.
Experience with CMMS systems and datadriven performance management.
Previous multisite or regional leadership in a healthcare environment.
