Overview

Divisional Hygiene Advisor:

Reports to: Vice President of Dental Hygiene

Position Purpose: The Hygiene Advisor will collaborate with the Vice President of Dental Hygiene Chief

Clinical Officer dental directors and hygiene coaches in analysis strategies and tactics to expand and improve

hygiene services across the dental practices supported by DCA. The Hygiene Advisor will collaborate with key

constituents across the company including senior field operations marketing insurance procurement training

analytics departments.

Compensation: Salary $120000$130000 with bonus opportunity up to 20% of base salary.

Schedule: Fulltime MondayFriday

Work Environment: Remote with once a month travel on average.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership

    • Support clinical and operational excellence across defined group of practices within the

    organization for continued growth.

    • Support Regional Hygiene coaches in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to

    enhance hygiene performance and patient care standards.

    • Collaborate with executive leadership and operations to align goals with overall company

    strategy.

  • Team Leadership

    • Mentor and coach Regional Hygiene Coaches to support professional development ensuring

    high standards of care and continuous improvement.

    • Create and foster a positive highperforming culture focused on teamwork accountability and

    growth.

    • Lead recurring weekly check ins with Coaches to identify discuss and solve key issues in the

    field.

  • Performance Optimization

    • Support Regional Hygiene coaches in analyzing key performance metrics (Ex: hygiene revenue

    patient retention schedule efficiency preventive services) and identifying opportunities for

    improvement.

    • Implement training and coaching programs to optimize the performance and efficiency of

    hygiene coaches.

  • Clinical Quality and Compliance

    • Support Regional Hygiene coaches to ensure adherence to clinical protocols compliance

    standards continuing education renewal completion and any other practice guidelines.

    • Support practice initiatives to improve patient outcomes through evidencebased practices and

    innovations in care delivery.

  • Recruitment and Retention

    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Operations to attract onboard and retain toptier hygiene

    talent.

    • Collaborate monitor and support compensation and bonus systems to ensure they are working

    efficiently and effectively.

  • Support Regional Hygiene coaches in developing and implementing retention strategies and

    engagement programs to maintain high satisfaction and low turnover.

    • Foster a culture of community amongst the coaches and hygiene teams that exhibit they are

    valued supported and cared for.

    Communication and Collaboration

    • Serve as the primary liaison between the hygiene team and other functional leaders (Operations

    Clinical Directors Finance and TA).

    • Facilitate best practice sharing and foster a collaborative environment.
    • Plan effective Divisional Hygiene meetings.

    Growth and Expansion

    • Support the integration of new practices and the scaling of hygiene operations during mergers

    and acquisitions.

    • Assess market trends and opportunities to drive growth in hygiene services and preventive care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or bachelors degree in dental Hygiene
  • License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
  • Certifications: Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
