Bilingual Early Childhood Developmental Specialist

The Early Childhood Developmental Specialist:
- participates on our interdisciplinary Early Intervention (EI) team providing homebased clinical services to families with children (03 years) who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disorders
- completes initial intakes and developmental assessments and partners with families to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) based on familys goals priorities and routines
- implements the IFSP through relationshipbased services which focus on supporting the caregivers interactions with their child
- supports overall development with particular attention to the socialemotional wellbeing of children and their families while providing the right dose of parent psychoeducation at the right time
- may lead and/or support group activities
- provides services via TeleHealth as needed the within context of safety funder regulations and treatment needs
TheEarly Childhood Developmental Specialist ensures the delivery of high quality developmentally sound and progressive services that are consistent with both DPH and Riverside Community Care standards.
Home visiting families with very young child is fascinating and challenging work. We believe in supporting staff so they can in turn support families and deepen their clinical knowledge and skills. Staff support includes thoughtful onboarding weekly clinical supervision from a qualified supervisor weekly team meetings and monthly staff meetings that focus on case presentations group reflective practice targeted learning opportunities and overall exploration of our work.
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week MondayFriday; Target start date will be in September 2025
Pay Range: Dependent on years of experience and education
- Bilingual with Bachelors Degree $53860.35 to $65096.09/salaried
- Bilingual with Masters Degree $57681.72 to $69745.31/salaried

Required Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Bilingual Spanish/English or Bilingual Brazilian Portuguese/English
Required Experience
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or Early Childhood required; Masters degree preferred. CEIS preferred
- At least one year experience with infant/toddler development early intervention or special needs is required; experience with autism preferred.
