Job Description
Job Title: Junior Design Engineer Mechanical Design
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop panel board layouts as per project requirements
Prepare sheet metal bending and development drawings
Select and integrate electrical components such as switchgears circuit breakers CTs and control transformers
Design routing and layout of busbars based on technical and thermal requirements
Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for busbars and sheet metal using Excel
Coordinate with the production and electrical design teams for manufacturability
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety norms
Requirements
Requirements:
Education: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 2 3 years in panel design or electrical enclosure fabrication
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and busbar design
Understanding of switchgear components and electrical layouts
BOM preparation in MS Excel
Other Skills:
Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
Good teamwork and communication skills
Familiarity with electrical standards and best practices
