Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer (JavaScript and TypeScript) to join our team.
Responsibilites:
- Build & Ship: Write highquality scalable code for new features across web and native platforms.
- Maintain & Improve: Refactor and optimize legacy code for better performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve bugs and technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate: Work closely with fellow engineers and product managers to design scope and implement new features.
- Mentor: Support and coach junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Innovate: Stay current with emerging frontend trends and suggest ways to improve tooling and workflows.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep experience with React and React Native (via Expo).
- Comfortable consuming and working with REST APIs
- Familiar with modern testing frameworks such as Jest Cypress and Testing Library.
- Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
- Ability to write clean maintainable and testable code.
- Awareness of security best practices in software development.
- Experience with performance optimization for frontend applications.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with and Vercel.
- Backend development experience in Go or .
- Scripting experience (Python Bash etc.).
- Containerization knowledge with tools like Docker.
- Experience collaborating with design teams using Figma.
Experience & Education: - 3 years of handson experience as a software engineer.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field (not required).
