Job Description
Our client is a leading furniture manufacturing company in Nigeria.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Design Architect to lead our design team in delivering exceptional projects that showcase our expertise in wood furniture and interior design. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio excellent design skills and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design team in developing innovative and sustainable design solutions that incorporate wood furniture and interior design elements.
- Manage projects from concept to completion ensuring timely and withinbudget delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Prepare and present design proposals reports and other documentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends best practices and new technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior design team members.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture interior design or a related field with a focus on wood furniture and interior design.
- Proven experience in leading design teams and managing projects.
- Excellent design skills with a strong portfolio that showcases expertise in wood furniture and interior design.
- Strong communication collaboration and project management skills.
- Proficiency in design software including Autodesk Revit SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
