Description
WHAT YOULL BE DOING
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented FullCharge Bookkeeper to manage and maintain the financial health of our company. This role is responsible for overseeing the general ledger inventory records A/P and A/R payroll bank reconciliations tax compliance and financial reporting.
Reporting to our General Manager youll work with the local branch to ensure accurate and timely management of accounting activities.
A highlight of your daytoday will include:
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Overseeing inventory records adjustments and variance analysis
- Managing accounts payable/receivable and vendor/customer records
- Reconciling payroll and bank statements
- Preparing financial reports and assisting with budgeting
- Ensuring compliance with tax filing requirements (e.g. sales tax 1096)
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Youre enthusiastic and motivated in a fastpaced environment. You have demonstrated knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and possess the following skills knowledge and experience
- Associates degree in accounting Finance or related field (Bachelors preferred)
- 35 years of experience in fullcharge bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience in manufacturing and/or automotive industry preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial best practices
- Excellent attention to detail communication and time management skills
