Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and supporting IT projects. You will work at the intersection of modern datacenter environments cloud solutions and the implementation of new IT infrastructure technologies.
- You lead and support IT projects for the setup and optimization of complex IT infrastructures including Active Directory servers backup storage and database management.
- You are taking care of the management of public cloud environments as well as external service providers to ensure smooth operations and the implementation of new solutions.
- Assessment of IT solutions in terms of compliance with standards costeffectiveness and future viability.
- Development and support of rollout and migration strategies.
- Optimization of the IT landscape regarding performance load balancing and security.
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary international teams and projects in both classic and agile environments.
- Provide professional technical advice to developers application owners stakeholders and business units.
Qualifications :
- Completed university degree in Computer Science Business Informatics or comparable qualifications.
- Skilled in leading and supporting IT projects.
- Expertise in managing external teams and service providers.
- Handson experience in server storage and database environments as well as virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with public cloud environments preferably with certification in Azure and AWS.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a structured precise and implementationoriented working style
- Willingness to travel (approx. 25%)
- Very good written and spoken English skills complete your profile
