Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager Scrap Ops to join our team in Wada Palghar India. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our scrap operations ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining highquality standards.
- Manage daytoday scrap operations including scheduling resource allocation and production planning
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity reduce waste and increase operational efficiency
- Oversee quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall performance
- Train and mentor production staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and customers to optimize supply chain operations
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles throughout the production process
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in scrap operations and recycling
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related field
- 5 years of experience in production management
- Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles and improving operational efficiency
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems and environmental compliance regulations
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a detailoriented approach
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage and motivate teams
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
