We are looking for a visionary leader ready to define and deliver the next generation of data and AI strategy in a global innovationfocused organisation At LGC were on a digital transformation journey and were looking for a Head of Data & AI to lead the way!

In this highimpact role we are looking for someone to shape the future of our data infrastructure drive enterprise AI adoption and build a culture where datadriven thinking is embedded across every function from Life Sciences to Legal HR Compliance and IT.

What Youll Do

As part of the leadership team you will:

• Define and implement a comprehensive roadmap for enterprisewide data and AI maturity
• Own the design of scalable architecture to power analytics automation and AI innovation
• Champion a modern data governance framework embedding quality security and stewardship
• Lead all aspects of the delivery of AI use cases from POC to scalable enterprise adoption
• Mentor and grow a crossfunctional team of engineers scientists analysts and architects
• Collaborate across functions to translate technical vision into business outcomes
• Evaluate and invest in emerging technologies to futureproof our data capabilities
• Ensure all initiatives align with ethical compliant and responsible AI practices

Qualifications :

What Youll Bring

Were looking for a rare mix of critical thinking and technical expertise including:

• A Masters or PhD in Data Science AI Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7 years in analytics data science or AI with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Demonstrated success in leading enterprisescale data and AI programs
• Deep understanding of data governance privacy regulations and responsible AI practices
• Strong technical knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) machine learning and modern data architecture
• Excellent communication and influence skills especially at Clevel
• A collaborative attitude with a consistent track record to lead crossfunctional teams and change initiatives
