Position Summary
As part of UHNs commitment to modernizing and operationalizing a transparent equitable and competitive compensation framework the organization is undertaking a significant assessment and redesign of salary structures for nonunion employees.
As the Lead Compensation Projects your expertise will serve as a critical conduit between strategic direction and UHNwide execution of this program. You will lead the structural review through analyzing and interpreting proposals and recommendations using advanced compensation analytics evaluating impacts across job families levels and employee groups. You will drive the proposal for recommendations including updates to banding architecture comparatio methodology job leveling and market alignment strategies. You will play a crucial role in the redesign of UHNs compensation administration practices and policy and will collaborate across People & Culture Finance and with other key leaders to prepare concise datadriven summaries for executive approval.
Additionally you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of UHNs Human Resource Information System (HRIS) transformation which will start in Fall 2025. You will contribute to the successful configuration implementation and integration of the new system for advanced compensation management requirements and beyond; ensuring a smooth transition and enhanced efficiency.
About you
You have a deep understanding of compensation strategy policy and job architecture. Your analytical skills attention to detail and strong project management skills will ensure alignment to best practices and compensation governance.
You ideally have experience working with compensation and job architecture rules in a modern HRIS system along with preferred exposure in a hospital environment or other complex environment and experience collaborating with People and Culture and departmental leaders to gather required information.
